 Our First Assignment for Media was to create three small works that would relate to the following terms: Beauty, Irony and Art.

Beauty:

On the subject of casting, "United We" has finally been cast and while I don't have photos of it yet (it's beautiful, believe me!) I do have some photos of the pour:

Stuff for cards, media and Senior Portrait

 Awhile back I did some watercolor cats for Cat Depot, since it's just about time to apply with card companies I decided to do some dogs to go with them:

Then we have a thumbnail for the next media assignment, Transportation (if you cannot tell that's a Bruin and a Penguin):

Media began with a 48-hour assignment, a self-portrait of oneself screaming, in ink.  I did mine, and it was going well, if I had managed to stop at a certain point it would have been a pretty good self-portrait.  As it stands I wish I had never added shadow to the face.  Also the sketch for the second Media assignment, "Man, Pet and Machine": 

Next up, I finally scanned an older piece for Postapocatlyptic, I post it because it shows sort of what I want to do with the backgrounds:
